Rae O'Brien — 4 year old kindergarten teacher

Rae has literally taught generations of children from Maidstone and the surrounding suburbs since she began teaching at Dobson Kindergarten in 1975.

She is a well known and popular member of the Maidstone community. Her love of gardening (which she shares with the children) and delight in the children's daily achievements is infectious.

Michelle Cootes — 4 year old kindergarten team member

Michelle began working with Rae as her assistant in 2003. She has over 20 years experience in a variety of early childhood settings including child care and pre-schools.

Michelle grew up in the country and now shares her inner city home with her little dog and four goldfish.

Nicolle Turner — 3 year old kindergarten teacher

A past kindergarten student at Dobson, Nicolle returned to our kindergarten as the 3 year old teacher in 2005.

Nicolle has many years of experience teaching 3 and 4 year old children in both long day care and pre-school settings.

Debbie Dangaard — 3 year old kindergarten team member

Debbie has been with Dobson Kindergarten since 2000 as an assistant for the 3 year old group. She has worked in early childhood education for many years and has undertaken study in relation to children with autism and special needs.

She has a strong commitment to special needs children and particularly enjoys working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds.
