Programs

Three Year Olds:

The program consists of planned indoor and outdoor play experiences. The transition between indoor and outdoor play includes group music and movement as well as time to share a healthy snack with friends. Experiences are planned according to the children’s individual development needs as well as specific group aims and objectives.

The children are encouraged to engage in exploratory and experimental play where the objectives are more about the process rather than the product.

The children learn about sharing, making friends, understanding limits and most of all having fun.

Throughout the year a progressive portfolio of the children's artwork is compiled and issued to parents at the completion of the kindergarten year. This portfolio is a reflection of the child's participation, achievements and development during the year.

Four Year Olds:

The 4 year old program involves two groups ten hours and twelve hours per week respectively. The program is based on the premise that young children learn best through PLAY, that is child initiated and staff supported. Therefore large blocks of time are allocated to enable the children to explore their ideas to there logical conclusion. Activities are planned to provide opportunities for group and individual work. Parents are encouraged to participate in the program and are welcome at any time.
